The Wonder Wave was unveiled on September 1999 at the Tokyo Game Show. The device used an infrared light to send data to the PlayStation’s PocketStation memory card to exchange data between the two systems. Depending on the Game, the data exchanged would allow different functionality such as exchange character between two games.
Here’s the completed list of supported games. Its to be noted that you need at least one games on the same line to be able to exchange data.
