History
After the acquisition of the RCA Studio III Intellectual properties by the Conic Group (康力集團), Conic reached out to various subsidiaries and other affiliates to distribute their newest console in various countries. For Italia, TREVI s.r.l. was selected to put their branding on the console.
Release
From their offices located at Via Sassonia 22. 47037 RIMINI, Trevi started the distribution of the Trevi M-1200 Micro-Computer. The console mold and box are the same as the other consoles of the M-1200 series, and the cartridges are also very similar to the generic version of the Sheen M-1200 Micro-Computer without the yellow middle line. As such, although the cartridges box are clearly marked as Trevi, the cartridge themselves don’t have any specific marking on them with English instruction. As single Italian instruction sheet on TREVI s.r.l.letter head is included with the games.
The console came with 4 built-in games:
- Doodle
- Pattern
- Bowling
- Black Jack 1 & 2
Games
Although it is expected that all 12 games were released for this console, so far, only 5 games were identified. All RCA Studio II and RCA Studio III games are compatible with the system.
